Tea culture can trace it's roots back to Ancient China. The China National Tea Museum documents the history and development of Chinese tea culture over thousands of years. Through the redesign of the brand, the traditional Chinese culture will be more effectively spread and innovated to the world.
Logomark
The logomark was inspired by the shape of the museum building, as well as the flowing tea water and the cascading tea hills. The letters E and A in the word “tea” are linked by a flowing curve, corresponding to the wave in the logomark.
Color Palette
The brand's color palette is derived from the color of the tea brewed using different tea production methods.
Stationery
To emphasize traditional Chinese features, I incorporated ripple elements inspired by ink painting into the design.
Brochure
I designed a watercolor-and-ink style brochure for the tea museum to reflect the cultural and artistic roots of tea and create a visually appealing and immersive experience for visitors.
Posters
A "Tea Zen, Tea Ceremony and Tea Rhythm" poster showcasing the cultural and aesthetic appeal of tea.
